Activities

Outreach classes for elementary school students about food waste:using our original karuta cards to explain what food waste is and how to reduce it.
Collaborative research activities to promote ethical consumption:in partnership with the university co-op and research members from the Faculty of Business Administration.
Participation in various events:such as litter-picking activities and workshops focused on environmental issues.

Activity frequency

Online meetings once a week, outreach classes 3-4 times a year.

Place

Meetings are mainly online. Outreach classes are held at various locations such as Suminoe Children's Center (Higashinada Ward), Honjo Children's Center (Higashinada Ward), and Ikuta River Children's Center (Chuo Ward). We also use the Rokko Mountain Regional Welfare Center.

Expense

Volunteer insurance: 500 yen (participation subsidies available for some activities). Transportation fees are largely covered by subsidies.
