Activities

We perform as "chindon-ya," a traditional form of street advertising dating back to the Edo period. In short, we dress in kimono, wear bold makeup, and parade through the streets playing instruments like drums, saxophones, flutes, and accordions. Our performances are requested for events ranging from local festivals to shopping malls and department stores.
