Activities

We practice "Jodo," a martial art involving the use of a staff (jo) and a wooden sword (tachi). Jodo is characterized by its use of two types of weapons and the fact that all forms are practiced in pairs. It is a "kata" martial art, meaning that practitioners follow pre-established patterns of movement.

Activity frequency

Twice a week (Wednesday 18:00-20:00, Saturday 12:00-14:00).

Place

Tsurukabuto First Campus Youshinkan.

Expense

500 yen per month for club fees. Additional costs include equipment, tournament fees, and federation registration fees (around 20,000 yen).
